The deck of playing cards is ingeniously structured to reflect the calendar year. There are 52 cards, which correspond to the 52 weeks in a year. Each suit hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades represents one of the four seasons, each with 13 cards symbolizing the 13 weeks within a season.
